Flow behaviour and thermal separation mechanism on vortex tubes have been studied numer-ically. Rapid expansion indicated by high-pressure gradient near the inlet exit ports contributes to energy parallel counter flow tubes. It creates a cooling process at core region drives an internal rotational transfer peripheral region, then increases gas temperature periphery along with friction due presence of confined wall. Static is related static pressure in such way that low leads same inside tube. On other hand, high total found dynamic velocity. For both tubes, fields are mainly governed tangential velocity axial region. The maximum Mach number values based velocities area for 0.689 0.726, respectively, so compressible subsonic flows. size geometry boundary conditions, tube has higher COP than i.e. 0.26 0.25, respectively.
